The real truth about Pastor D

Abstemious old Pastor D
(His prostate still betrayed him)
He took his mission seriously
and neither drank nor swore, and he
eschewed all substances but tea,
with neither boys nor girls made free -
I wonder if that made him
a better man than you and me
who drink and swear and tup with glee
(and maybe once took LSD?)
and though he had less fun than we
the Universe still laid him
lower than a chopped-down tree,
more dead than you, more sick than me,
for when the Reaper comes, you see,
He quite ignores morality
and no-one can evade Him.
